Comments:The western-fringed prairie orchid and other unique plants can be found. Prairie chickens can be found here. Sandhill cranes breed here in good numbers and the Wilson's phalarope has been verified here. The historic Pembina Trail runs through the WMA.

Rules:No use of ATV's or snowmobiles except when authorized. No licensed motor vehicles except on designated routes. No horses or target shooting allowed. No leaving hunting/fishing equipment unattended overnight.

Snowmobile Info:Snowmobiling generally is NOT permitted on WMAs in the southern 3/4 of the state, but MAY be permitted in the northern 1/4. It is permitted on posted snowmobile trails and areas. Be sure to check the state snowmobile regulations for the area where you will be riding and note signs posted at the boundaries.
