Zippel Bay State Park consists of over 3,000 acres of northern Minnesota forest along the south shore of Lake of the Woods, one of North America’s largest lakes. The park contains a swimming beach on Lake of the Woods as well as a boat landing and marina in the bay with access to the lake protected by a stone jetty. On land, the park offers visitors nature trails, picnic areas, and drive-in camping in the wilderness-like setting of northern Minnesota.
